[06-17-2021] Orange County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Newport Beach

One person was killed after a fatal traffic collision involving a motorcycle in Newport Beach on Wednesday night, June 17.

The fatal collision transpired at approximately 10:30 p.m. on the Costa Mesa (55) Freeway) near the Corona Del Mar (73) Freeway and Baker Street on-ramp.

A motorcycle and a pickup truck collided on the roadway. The circumstances leading up to the collision have not been established.

One person was killed as a result of the crash. The identity of the deceased party has not been disclosed.

The California Highway Patrol is actively investigating the accident.
