Two children were killed after a deadly two-vehicle collision in Menifee on Wednesday evening, October 13.
The crash transpired at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Domenigoni Parkway, just east of Lindenberger Road in Menifee. A Ford pickup truck and a Chevrolet pickup truck haling a trailer were involved in the collision. The Ford reportedly side-swiped the Chevrolet for unclear reasons.
Due to the severity of the impact, the Chevrolet and the trailer it was hauling overturned and ejected the two children from the vehicle. Unfortunately, the two children inside the Chevrolet were pronounced dead at the scene. One of the children was identified as 1-Year-Old Legend Aries G.
The 18-year-old Ford driver was uninjured in the mishap. He was taken into custody at the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of felony vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence.
