Four people were hurt after a multi-vehicle traffic collision in Santa Ynez Valley on Thursday morning, March 18.
The accident occurred at approximately 8:14 a.m. on Highway 154 near the Cold Spring Bridge in Santa Ynez Valley. Four unspecified vehicles were reportedly involved in the collision.
How the collision occurred, and the reason why it happened has not been established. One car suffered major front-end damage after rear-ending one of the involved vehicles.
Four people were injured as a result of the collision. One of the patients suffered from moderate injuries and was taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
The identities of the parties involved have not been disclosed. It is unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
Local authorities are further investigating the case.
