[01-23-2026] Orange County, CA – Three Critically Injured in Two-Vehicle Rollover Crash in Newport Beach

Three people were critically injured following a two-vehicle rollover crash in Newport Beach on Friday evening, January 23, 2026.

According to firefighters, the crash was reported at around 8:20 p.m. on the southbound 73 Toll Road at Bonita Canyon.

Responding crews found two heavily damaged vehicles with occupants trapped inside. Firefighters extricated all three victims from the vehicles and transported them to local hospitals with critical injuries.

Authorities stated that the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
