An unidentified pedestrian was severely injured after being struck by a vehicle in Bakersfield on Monday night, May 15, 2023.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash occurred around 10:07 p.m. when a person was reported in the lanes on Taft Highway in south Bakersfield, near Highway 99.
At this time, no additional information about the victim or the vehicle involved has been released. Anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.
