Major injuries were reported in a crash involving a white sports car and a semi-trailer truck on Interstate 5 in the Lebec area, Kern County, on Thursday evening, June 19, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:10 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near the Grapevine.
At least one person sustained major injuries, though the condition of those involved was not immediately released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
