Two people were killed after a deadly head-on collision in San Jose on early Friday morning, November 5, 2021.

[11-05-2021] Santa Clara County, CA - Two People Killed After a Fatal Head-On Collision in San JoseThe crash took place on Bailey Avenue, just east of Monterey Road near Highway 101 in San Jose, at around 10:13 a.m.

A 1991 Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling westbound on Bailey Avenue when it drifted across the double-yellow lines and went into the opposite lanes.

The pickup truck then collided head-on with an oncoming eastbound 2019 BMW on Bailey Avenue.

A female passenger in the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene. She was identified as Rosaline B.

Meanwhile, another person was rushed to an area hospital but was later pronounced dead. The second deceased party was identified as 86-year-old Vincent B.

The BMW driver was also taken to an area hospital for treatment. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the mishap.

Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the collision. Witnesses that can provide more information about the crash are urged to call authorities at 408-277-4654.
