[10-17-2025] Los Angeles County, CA โ€“ Pedestrian Killed in Collision at East Las Hermanas Street and Santa Fe Avenue in Compton

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle at the intersection of East Las Hermanas Street and Santa Fe Avenue in Compton on Friday morning, October 17, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatality was reported around 6:00 a.m. L.A. County firefighters pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The intersection was closed for at least two hours as authorities investigated the incident.

The identity of the pedestrian has not been released. The collision remains under investigation.
