[10-21-2025] Riverside County, CA โ€“ Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Collision with Pickup Truck at Daily and Scott Roads in Menifee

A motorcyclist was critically injured after his bike collided with a pickup truck in Menifee on Tuesday night, October 21, 2025.

According to the Menifee Police Department, the crash occurred shortly after 10 p.m. at the intersection of Daily and Scott roads.

A 46-year-old man from Paramount was riding eastbound on Scott Road on a BMW motorcycle when a Toyota pickup traveling westbound turned left onto Daily Road, reportedly failing to see the approaching motorcycle.

Police said the rider struck the side of the pickup truck and was thrown from his motorcycle. Riverside County Fire Department paramedics arrived within minutes and found the rider in the roadway with severe injuries. He was transported to a regional trauma center, where he remained under intensive care as of Wednesday.

The pickup driver, a 65-year-old resident of Menifee, was uninjured and remained at the scene. Officers questioned him but did not make an arrest.

Authorities said alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
