[04-24-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle on Mabury Rd. in San Jose

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in San Jose on Friday morning, April 24, 2026.

According to the San Jose Police Department, the incident was reported at around 9:17 a.m. in the 1400 block of Mabury Road near the Coyote Creek overcrossing.

Officers arrived and found a man with severe injuries, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities stated that the pedestrian was crossing the roadway outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a white 2014 Infiniti sedan traveling westbound.

Police reported that the driver, identified as a juvenile female, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
