[09-06-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Street Vendor and Pedestrians Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash in Montebello

A street vendor and several pedestrians suffered injuries after a two-vehicle crash sent one of the vehicles toward them in Montebello on Sunday morning, September 6, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the initial collision occurred around 10:40 a.m. on Rosemead Boulevard, just south of Durfee Avenue.

CHP reported that one of the vehicles involved subsequently struck the street vendor and pedestrians. They suffered minor injuries. It was not immediately clear whether the driver of that vehicle was injured.

The other vehicle went into a nearby riverbed. Firefighters and paramedics extricated the driver, whose condition was not immediately available.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
