[10-20-2021] Fresno County, CA – Motorcycle Rider Injured After a Collision with a Suspected DUI Driver at South Marks Avenue and West Adams Avenue

One unidentified person was injured after a motorcycle crash with a suspected DUI driver at an intersection in Fresno on Wednesday night, October 20.

The collision happened at the intersection of South Marks Avenue and West Adams Avenue at around 7:00 p.m.

A motorcyclist was traveling through the intersection and had the right of way when he was suddenly struck by a pickup truck.

The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment. His identity has not been disclosed.

Authorities later determined that the pickup truck driver was under the influence at the time of the accident. He was arrested on DUI-related charges. The case is currently under further investigation.
