[01-02-2022] Monroe County, GA – 17-Year-Old Killed Inside a Forsyth Walmart

A 17-year-old boy identified as Cedric M. was killed after getting shot inside a Forsyth Walmart on Sunday, January 2, 2022.

The incident occurred at a Walmart located at 180 L Nee Street. The victim and another 17-year-old teenager, identified as Tarmaine Jontavion B., had an argument.

As the argument escalated, Tarmaine reportedly pulled out his pistol and shot the victim several times inside the Walmart.

Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies and the Forsyth police immediately responded to the scene. Unfortunately, the victim could not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Authorities then took the 17-year-old suspect into custody. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is currently investigating the case.
