[07-07-2021] Racine County, Wis. – Elderly Woman Repeatedly Punched by Teenage Walmart Employee in Mount Pleasant

A 70-year-old woman was physically assaulted by a Walmart employee in Mount Pleasant on July 7, 2021.

[07-07-2021] Racine County, Wis. - Elderly Woman Repeatedly Punched by Teenage Walmart Employee in Mount PleasantThe incident occurred at approximately 7:06 p.m. in a Walmart store located on Oakes Road and Durand Avenue.

The Mount Pleasant Police Department received a call about an elderly woman who was punched multiple times in the head by a cashier.

The victim and the Walmart employee reportedly got into a heated verbal argument when the older woman demanded to speak to the manager and asked for the employee’s full name.

When the older woman attempted to picture the employee’s nametag, the employee snapped and started to attack the woman.

The older woman sustained injuries to her head and face. She had several bruises but luckily did not suffer from extreme injury.

The Walmart employee was then charged with aggravated battery to an elderly person and disorderly conduct.
