[08-09-2026] San Francisco County, CA – Two Pedestrians Injured After Being Struck By Pickup Truck on O’Farrell and Cyril Magnin St.

Two pedestrians were injured after being struck by a pickup truck in downtown San Francisco on Sunday afternoon, August 9, 2026.

According to the San Francisco Fire Department, the incident was reported shortly before 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of O’Farrell and Cyril Magnin streets, in front of the Handlery Union Square Hotel.

Authorities said the pickup truck struck the two pedestrians and a light pole. Both pedestrians were transported to a hospital in stable condition. The driver remained at the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing.
