[10-20-2021] Sacramento County, CA – One Person Killed, Two Others Injured After a Multi-Vehicle Collision at Power Inn and Fruitridge Roads

One person was killed while two others were injured after a major multi-vehicle traffic collision in south Sacramento on late Wednesday morning, October 20.

The accident took place in the area of Power Inn Road and Fruitridge Road at approximately 11:30 a.m. Three vehicles, including a tow truck, collided on the roadway under unclear circumstances. How the collision occurred, and the reason it happened has not been established.

A sedan driver involved in the collision was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the passenger in the sedan and the tow truck driver were injured in the crash and were immediately transported to an area hospital for treatment.
