Alamance County, North Carolina – Woman Attacked With a Baseball Bat at North Carolina Walmart

An unidentified woman was seriously hurt getting attacked with a baseball bat by another woman in a North Carolina Walmart on November 23, 2020. 

Alamance County, North Carolina - Woman Attacked With a Baseball Bat at North Carolina WalmartThe suspect reportedly attacked the victim while she was walking. She was left bloody and seriously injured. Shoppers and employees immediately came to her aid and helped her. 

The Burlington Police Department later released a statement saying that the suspect and the victim did not personally know each other. 

The motives of the attacker remain unclear. The suspect was later identified as 31-year-old Candice C. She was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and was being held at the local jail.
