An unidentified person was killed after a fatal pedestrian accident in Commerce on Sunday night, October 31st.

A white Nissan Sentra called authorities, informing them that she thought she hit a body. After a while, a GMC Yukon SUV driver later told officers that she was the one that struck the pedestrian.

The victim’s body was found lying in the No. 1 lane. Unfortunately, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Information about the accident is limited at the moment.

The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. Local authorities are further investigating the accident. They will gather more information and determine liability in the crash.
