A 37-year-old woman identified as Sheri Lynn C. was killed after a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash in Carlsbad on Monday night, November 1st.

[11-01-2021] San Diego County, CA - Two-Vehicle Collision in Carlsbad Results in One DeathThe accident occurred at the intersection of Cannon Road and El Camino Real in Carlsbad at around 11:15 a.m. An eastbound 2001 Mitsubishi Montera was traveling on Cannon Road when the driver failed to stop for a red light at Camino Real.

A northbound 2006 Acura then struck the Mitsubishi. Due to the severity of the impact, the Mitsubishi Montero rolled over.

The Mitsubishi driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Information about the crash is limited at the moment. It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.

The Acura driver was uninjured in the mishap. No arrests have been made at the moment. The crash is currently under further investigation.
