A 41-year-old woman from San Jose was killed after a multi-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 880 at Tasman Drive in Milpitas early Friday morning, March 14, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 3:55 a.m. when two vehicles initially collided, with one striking a tire on the roadway. Additional vehicles were involved in subsequent crashes following the initial impact.
Authorities have not yet determined whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation is ongoing.
