A 74-year-old woman was fatally struck by a vehicle in Fresno early Saturday morning, March 15, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 5:30 a.m. on Clinton Avenue, east of Bond Street.
A Toyota Avalon was traveling westbound on Clinton Avenue when it struck the woman, who was using a walker in the westbound lanes. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and pronounced the woman dead.
The driver of the Toyota immediately stopped, called 911, and cooperated fully with investigators. Authorities stated that alcohol and drugs are not suspected as factors in the crash.
