[05-03-2025] San Diego County, CA – One Killed, Four Injured in Five-Vehicle Collision on I-805 Near Logan Avenue

One person was killed and four others were injured following a five-vehicle crash on Interstate 805 near Logan Avenue in San Diego on Saturday morning, May 3, 2025.

According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, the collision occurred shortly before 9:00 a.m. on the southbound lanes of I-805, between the Legacy Walk and Lincoln Park neighborhoods.

Authorities reported that four injured victims were transported to a hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
