[08-08-2025] Riverside County, CA โ€“ Bicyclist Dies After Being Struck by Vehicle in Hemet

A bicyclist died two days after being struck by a vehicle in Hemet on Friday evening, August 8, 2025.

According to the Hemet Police Department, the collision occurred shortly after 6 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Soboba Street.

Investigators said the bicyclist was traveling eastbound on Lincoln Avenue when a northbound driver on Soboba Street struck him. The driver stopped at the scene.

Paramedics from the Hemet Fire Department initially believed the bicyclistโ€™s injuries were moderate, but his condition worsened at the hospital due to internal injuries. He died on Sunday while under intensive care.

Police said alcohol was ruled out as a factor. The identities of both the victim and the driver have not been released.
