[08-31-2025] Santa Clara County, CA โ€“ Pedestrian Injured by Suspected DUI Driver at West El Camino Real and Miramonte Avenue in Mountain View

A 64-year-old man was injured after being struck by a vehicle driven by a suspected DUI driver in Mountain View on Sunday evening, August 31, 2025.

According to the Mountain View Police Department, officers responded around 9:47 p.m. to a collision near West El Camino Real and Miramonte Avenue.

Fire Department medics found the pedestrian suffering from injuries and transported him to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities identified the driver as 23-year-old Eva L. of San Francisco. She was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and was later booked into the Santa Clara County main jail for driving under the influence, causing injury.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
