According to local police, the crash was reported around 1:04 p.m. near Lucchesi Park at East Madison Street and Novak Drive.
Officers and firefighters responded to the scene for a serious collision involving the motorcycle and the Kia SUV.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Kia driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Police reported that there is no indication that alcohol was a factor.
