[09-20-2025] El Dorado County, CA โ€“ Motorcyclist Killed in Head-On Collision with Truck on Coloma Road Near Rattlesnake Bar Road

A motorcyclist was killed in a head-on collision on Coloma Road near Rattlesnake Bar Road in Auburn Lake Trails, El Dorado County, on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was traveling southbound when they crossed into the northbound lane and were struck by a Ford truck. The truck driver was not injured and cooperated with investigators at the scene.

CHP stated that there is no evidence at this time that drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
