One person was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and two other vehicles in San Diego’s Miramar area on Saturday afternoon, September 20, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 3:33 p.m. on the southbound I-15 Express Lanes near the Cabrillo (163) Freeway merger.
A witness reported a white Mustang pulled over to the right shoulder and a black BMW in the center divider. Officers located the motorcycle at the end of the transition toward the 163 Freeway. Traffic was stopped at Miramar Way and the HOV lane transition while authorities responded.
The CHP did not specify whether the motorcycle rider was the person killed. No arrests were immediately reported.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
