A 42-year-old man was killed after being struck by a truck on the 14100 block of West Telegraph Road near Santa Paula on Saturday morning, September 27, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 74-year-old Ventura man was driving a Ford westbound on Telegraph when he pulled into his driveway and struck the pedestrian.
Ventura County Fire personnel found the man with severe injuries in critical condition. While being transported to a hospital, he suffered cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead upon arrival. The victimโs identity has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
No arrests were made, and CHP confirmed that drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash. The CHP Moorpark-area office is investigating.
