[09-28-2025] Sacramento County, CA โ€“ Pedestrian Killed in Vehicle Collision Near 24th Street and 47th Avenue

A pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle near 24th Street and 47th Avenue in Sacramento on Sunday morning, September 28, 2025.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded shortly after 8:00 a.m. following multiple reports of the crash, which occurred on a road adjacent to Sacramento Executive Airport.

The pedestrian was transported to a hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. DUI does not appear to be a factor.

Detectives from the departmentโ€™s major collision investigation unit are handling the investigation.
