A pedestrian was fatally struck by two vehicles on the Calvine Road onramp to northbound Highway 99 in south Sacramento early Friday morning, April 11, 2025.
The incident occurred shortly before 5:00 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. For reasons still under investigation, the pedestrian was hit by two different vehicles while on the onramp.
Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officers. The onramp was temporarily closed during the investigation and has since reopened.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
